Who runs this site
GraphicTech.mu helps people move from an idea to a file and material a printer can actually use. We explain artwork setup, resolution, colour, bleed, substrates, sublimation, signage, and custom-product workflows without pretending every press or workshop follows one universal rule.
Our ecosystem
GraphicTech.mu is part of the Graphic Supplies ecosystem, a Chemtech Group initiative. We disclose this relationship openly so readers know who publishes the site.
How we build a guide
We separate durable production principles from provider-specific settings. Numeric conventions are labelled as rules of thumb, product claims need a named source, and the printer's current specification or manufacturer's datasheet wins whenever it differs. Articles may be drafted with AI assistance, but they are reviewed before publication and corrected when errors surface.
Tools, not file uploads
The file checker, DPI calculator, bleed visualizer, and media selector run in your browser. They do not upload artwork or save your dimensions. Their output is a better briefing for a printer, not a remote proof, press approval, equipment purchase recommendation, or quotation.
Our production boundary
Every press, RIP, ink, substrate, finishing line, and viewing condition changes the answer. Confirm real work against the provider's specification and, when colour or finish matters, approve a physical proof or swatch before the full run.
